We deploy Aqara motion sensors, door/window contacts, temperature sensors, vibration sensors, water leak detectors, and smart switches across most of our projects. Aqara hub plus 22 Zigbee devices: motion sensors in every room, door/window contacts, temperature/humidity sensors, water leak detector under the sink, smart switches for lighting. All bridged to Home Assistant for advanced automation.

AED 4,800. Done in one day. Lights follow the renter through the apartment automatically. AC adjusts based on her actual presence. The water leak sensor caught a slow drip under the kitchen sink in week three.

Do Aqara devices need a hub?+
Aqara devices use Zigbee, which requires a hub. We typically use Home Assistant with a Zigbee coordinator, which serves as the hub for Aqara and all other Zigbee devices.
Are Aqara devices reliable?+
Very. Zigbee is a proven industrial protocol, and Aqara devices are known for consistent performance. We have thousands of Aqara sensors deployed across our projects with excellent reliability.
Can I use Aqara with Apple HomeKit?+
Yes. Aqara offers an Apple HomeKit-compatible hub that lets you control Aqara devices through the Apple Home app and Siri.
How much do Aqara sensors cost in Dubai?+
Motion sensors start from around AED 80, door/window contacts from AED 60, and temperature sensors from AED 70. A full apartment sensor kit typically costs AED 1,000-2,500.
What's the range of Aqara Zigbee devices?+
Individual Zigbee range is about 10-15 meters, but since mains-powered devices act as repeaters, the mesh network extends throughout the home. We've never had range issues in any installation.
