Aqara hub plus 22 Zigbee devices: motion sensors in every room, door/window contacts, temperature/humidity sensors, water leak detector under the sink, smart switches for lighting. All bridged to Home Assistant for advanced automation.
AED 4,800. Done in one day. Lights follow the renter through the apartment automatically. AC adjusts based on her actual presence. The water leak sensor caught a slow drip under the kitchen sink in week three.
