By accessing our website, requesting a consultation, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services immediately.
1. Services Provided
Bayora provides professional smart home automation solutions, including but not limited to:
- Smart Climate Control: AC automation, smart thermostats, and temperature management systems
- Smart Lighting: Automated lighting control, dimming systems, and scene creation
- Security & Access Control: Smart locks, video surveillance (CCTV/NVR), intercoms, and door sensors
- Audio Visual Systems: Multi-room audio, home theater installation, and entertainment automation
- Motorized Blinds & Shading: Automated curtains and blinds integration
- Whole-Home Integration: Unified control systems integrating multiple smart home components
- Maintenance & Monitoring: Subscription-based ongoing support, system monitoring, and preventive maintenance
Services are provided on a project-by-project basis following consultation, site assessment, and mutual agreement on scope of work.
2. Consultation and Quotations
2.1 Initial Consultation
We offer complimentary initial consultations to understand your requirements and assess your property. Consultations may be conducted via phone, WhatsApp, video call, or in-person site visit.
2.2 Quotations
Following consultation, we provide a detailed quotation outlining:
- Scope of work and deliverables
- Equipment specifications and quantities
- Labor and installation costs
- Project timeline estimate
- Payment terms
- Warranty coverage
Quotations are valid for 30 days from issuance. Pricing may be subject to change after this period due to equipment cost fluctuations or project modifications.
2.3 Acceptance
By accepting our quotation (via signature, email confirmation, or deposit payment), you enter into a binding agreement with Bayora to proceed with the project as specified.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Deposit
A deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required upon acceptance of the quotation. This deposit secures equipment ordering and project scheduling.
3.2 Balance Payment
The remaining 50% balance is due upon project completion and successful testing. We accept payment via:
- Bank transfer
- Credit/debit card
- Cash (for amounts under AED 10,000)
3.3 Subscription Services
For maintenance and monitoring subscriptions, payment is due monthly or annually in advance, depending on your selected plan. Automatic renewal applies unless cancelled with 30 days' notice.
3.4 Late Payments
Overdue balances may incur a late fee of 5% per month. We reserve the right to suspend services or remote access features for accounts with outstanding balances.
4. Installation and Project Execution
4.1 Site Preparation
You are responsible for:
- Providing access to the property during agreed working hours
- Ensuring a clear, safe working environment (moving furniture, clearing pathways)
- Providing stable internet connectivity for smart home setup
- Obtaining any necessary building management approvals for installations
- Ensuring electrical infrastructure meets requirements (additional electrical work may incur extra charges)
4.2 Installation Timeline
Project timelines are estimates and may vary based on:
- Equipment delivery delays
- Site conditions or unforeseen complications
- Building management restrictions
- Customer-requested modifications
We will communicate any delays promptly and work to minimize impact.
4.3 Changes to Scope
Requests to modify the project scope after acceptance must be submitted in writing. We will provide a change order outlining additional costs and timeline impacts. Work on changes commences only after your approval.
4.4 Completion and Handover
Upon completion, we conduct a full system demonstration and handover, including:
- Training on system operation and features
- Provision of user manuals and warranty documentation
- Mobile app setup and configuration
- Contact information for support
5. Warranties and Guarantees
5.1 Workmanship Warranty
Bayora provides a 1-year warranty on labor and installation workmanship from the date of project completion. This covers:
- Defects in installation
- Wiring and connection issues attributable to our work
- System configuration errors
5.2 Equipment Warranty
Smart home equipment is covered by manufacturer warranties, typically ranging from 1-3 years depending on the product. We assist with warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer warranty terms or denials.
5.3 Warranty Exclusions
Warranties do not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or neglect
- Issues resulting from power surges, electrical faults, or internet outages
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from water, fire, extreme temperatures, or other environmental factors
- Third-party software or platform changes beyond our control
- Equipment relocated or modified by non-Bayora technicians
5.4 Warranty Service
To claim warranty service, contact us via email or phone. We aim to respond within 2 business days and schedule service visits within 5 business days for warranty-covered issues.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
6.1 Cancellation Before Installation
If you cancel before installation work begins:
- Full refund of the deposit, minus equipment costs if equipment has been ordered (we will provide itemized deductions)
- Cancellation must be submitted in writing via email
- Refunds processed within 14 business days
6.2 Cancellation After Installation Starts
If you cancel after installation has commenced:
- You will be charged for all work completed, equipment installed, and non-returnable materials
- Any refundable balance will be processed within 14 business days
- Installed equipment remains your property
6.3 Subscription Cancellations
Maintenance and monitoring subscriptions can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. No refunds for partial months. Cancelled subscriptions remain active until the end of the paid period.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 Service Interruptions
Smart home systems depend on internet connectivity, electricity, and third-party platforms (Google, Amazon, Apple). We are not liable for service interruptions caused by:
- Internet outages or ISP issues
- Power failures or electrical problems
- Third-party platform downtime or API changes
- Manufacturer server outages
7.2 Security Systems
While we install security devices (cameras, locks, sensors), we do not guarantee prevention of theft, break-ins, or property damage. You are responsible for:
- Activating security features and setting up alerts
- Monitoring camera feeds and notifications
- Complying with UAE laws regarding surveillance and privacy
- Maintaining insurance coverage for your property
7.3 Maximum Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Bayora's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific project or service giving rise to the claim.
7.4 Consequential Damages
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
8. Customer Responsibilities
As a Bayora customer, you agree to:
- Maintain Systems: Keep devices updated with firmware and software updates
- Secure Credentials: Protect app login credentials and Wi-Fi passwords
- Use as Intended: Operate equipment according to manufacturer guidelines
- Report Issues Promptly: Notify us of malfunctions or defects during the warranty period
- Obtain Permissions: Ensure compliance with building regulations and homeowner association rules
- Provide Accurate Information: Supply correct contact details, property information, and requirements
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Bayora or its licensors and protected by UAE and international copyright laws.
Custom system configurations and automation scenes created for your project remain your property but may be based on proprietary Bayora methodologies.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By engaging our services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, extreme weather)
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
- Government actions, restrictions, or regulations
- Supply chain disruptions or equipment shortages
- Labor strikes or material shortages
We will notify you promptly of force majeure events and work to resume services as soon as reasonably possible.
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Informal Resolution

12.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically the Emirate of Dubai.
12.3 Jurisdiction
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
For existing projects, the Terms in effect at the time of quotation acceptance shall apply unless mutually agreed otherwise.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any signed quotations or service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bayora regarding the use of our services.
